In 2013, Simon Sekhleyan founded High Quality Plumbing LLC. He started with a vision and strong work ethic. The initial focus was on new-construction plumbing and modular home installations.
“In those early days,” Sekhleyan said, “the work was primarily behind the scenes—installing plumbing systems in homes before they were ever occupied.”
There were no direct clients, no homeowners to interact with, just blueprints, pipes, and the satisfaction of getting the job done right. But businesses, like people, evolve.
Seeing the growing need for reliable, service-based plumbing, Sekhleyan expanded the focus of High Quality Plumbing LLC from construction-based work to direct service for homeowners and businesses with the goal of offering long-term solutions, high-quality workmanship, and exceptional customer care. This change was more than just a shift in clientele, it was a transformation in how the business operated.
“By working directly with customers,” Sekhleyan explained, “we could provide personalized service and solutions and take the time to really interact to ensure that every customer felt valued. This has allowed us to build lasting relationships with people who appreciate quality service, integrity, and expertise.”
Plumbing is more than just fixing pipes—it’s about keeping homes and businesses safe, efficient, and comfortable. And for Sekhleyan, being a business owner is more than just having your name on the side of the truck. Running a business, he believes, is the “ultimate spiritual game, one that fulfills essential human needs like variety, contribution, certainty, growth, and love.”
Building a successful company doesn’t happen alone, and hasn’t always been easy. The COVID-19 pandemic was a challenge, when so many industries faced uncertainty, plumbing remained an essential service. Sekhleyan and his team worked tirelessly to ensure that homes and businesses had access to safe drinking water, functioning plumbing, and working heating systems.
“We are grateful for the resources and support provided by the Better Business Bureau (BBB),” Sekhleyan said. “They have played a role in the company’s growth and credibility.”
